"I’ve been swimming from early childhood and as a young adult became a Water Safety  Instructor and National Life Guard.  After being wait listed for several years, my first practice with UNB Masters was Jan 1, 1991. Since then, it has been a constant in my life. Good friends, fitness, enjoyment and stress release all happened through Masters swimming. It’s one reason I have remained in Fredericton in retirement."

"Swimming at the SMA pool has been a part of my weekly routine since moving to Fredericton in 1976 to attend UNB. In 1988 I joined UNB Masters swim team and have been going to practice three mornings a week ever since.
As I age, swimming will become an even more important part of my routine. Swimming is a sport for all ages."

Terry Brodie, Masters
